In the late 90's, I did registration for Midwinter (a youth event of several weeks in the Texas Annual Conference) for several years with an outdated program written in DOS. The program was called Q&A and written by Rev. Rusty Watkins. It was this registration process and this program that became the foundation for what eventually became ROYCE.
When I was asked to do summer youth camp, I decided to buy a book on Access and try my hand at making a relational database. It was quite simple at first, but each year I added and modified it. I decided to make it custimizable so that any district could use it. The most recent version (version 4.0.0) has received a complete facelift and is tab-driven rather than menu driven.
I hope ROYCE is able to fulfill its mission in your environment.
